Spanish royal Princess Cristina has been summoned to appear in court as part of her husband's fraud case.
The 48-year-old Princess, daughter of King Juan Carlos of Spain, will be questioned in court in Majorca, Spain on 8 March (14) over allegations her husband Inaki Urdangarin, the Duke of Palma de Mallorca, embezzled a fortune in public money through his not-for-profit foundation.
Princess Cristina was previously named a suspect in the case, but prosecutors cleared her after declaring there is insufficient evidence to implicate her.
The 45-year-old Duke has been under investigation since 2010 over fraud and money laundering allegations stemming from alleged offences between 2004 and 2006. He denies the allegations.
