South Korean model/actor KIM JI-WHO has been found dead in an apparent suicide - becoming the country's fourth star to take his own life in just one month.
The 23-year-old's body was discovered by police at his home in Jamsil, southern Seoul on Monday (06Oct08).
According to reports, Kim had become depressed after suffering a backlash when he recently 'came out' and admitted he was gay.
Many of his TV appearances were subsequently cancelled and he received a number of hate messages on his website.
Officers from the local Songpa Police Station found a note at the scene saying, "I'm lonely and in a difficult situation. Please cremate my body."
A police statement reads: "Given the note and testimony from his family members, we believe he apparently committed suicide."
Kim's death comes just days after actress Choi Jin-Sil died in a suspected suicide. Her body was found last Thursday (02Oct08).
Fellow entertainers Jang Chae-won and Ahn Jae-hwan have also died in recent weeks.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
