The 32-year-old actress had her first child with fiancé Cutter Dykstra, 24, on Wednesday (28.08.13) and the mother and baby, who are currently in Los Angeles, are ''great.''
A representative for the couple told Us Weekly magazine: ''Both mommy and baby are great!''
Additional details including the baby's name and weight are yet to be released however the star previously said she will be giving her baby a ''normal'' moniker.
Jamie announced the wonderful news that they were expecting in February, two weeks after she was engaged to her basketball player boyfriend, but the pregnancy was difficult at first.
She previously said :''The first few months were not fun. I got hit pretty hard, but I feel fantastic now. It's the most natural thing your body can do. I have no part in anything that's happening with the baby. I'm just kind of a vessel, so it really is a miracle and it really is an exciting time.''
