Songwriter Mentor Williams has died at the age of 70.
The songwriter passed away on Wednesday (16Nov16).
Williams, who is the brother of songwriter and actor Paul Williams, was best known for writing Drift Away, which was originally recorded by John Henry Kurtz.
He previously worked at The Record Plant with Paul MCCartney and Kenney Jones and Apple Studios in London with Stealers Wheel and Gerry Rafferty.
He also produced albums for his brother Paul, Kim Carnes, John Stewart, and Dobie Gray, and worked as post-production, remix engineer for The Muppet Movie in 1979. Williams also contributed to 1969's Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid soundtrack.
Williams was a longtime partner of country music singer Lynn Anderson until her death in 2015.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
