Former WESTLIFE singer BRYAN McFADDEN is in talks with a major record label to rush-release his first solo work.
The 24-year-old, who found fame with the all-conquering Irish boyband before quitting in March (04), is keen to begin work on his debut material as soon as possible despite stating he quit Westlife to spend more time with his young family.
And record company BMG is considering a multi-million dollar contract with the singer, reports British newspaper the DAILY STAR.
An insider says, "Both parties are very hopeful that the talks will come to fruition.
"It is certainly on the cards and people are getting excited about it."
McFadden's new music is likely to be of a similar vintage to his work with Westlife.11/05/2004 13:20
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
