Sofia Richie feels like an ''alien'' compared to the people she grew up with.
The 19-year-old daughter of music legend Lionel Richie has had her life thrown into the spotlight since she started modelling and recently began dating 34-year-old reality star Scott Disick, and she has admitted the friends she went to school with now think she's ''weird and so not normal'' because of her fame.
She said: ''The kids that I grew up with in elementary school, they all just went off to college this year. They literally look at me like I'm an alien, they're like, 'You are so weird and so not normal. Where did you go left and we went straight?' I have no idea.''
Sofia made her modelling debut at rapper Kanye West's Yeezy show in 2016, and admits her life has been hectic ever since.
She added: ''Everything's moving really quickly. I'm kind of a crazy worker. When I'm working a lot it makes me happy.''
The beauty credits her famous father for bestowing her with her strong work ethic, and although she thinks the 'Hello' hitmaker can be ''weird'' at times, she praises him as her ''creative go to.''
Speaking to the November issue of DuJour magazine, she said: ''My dad, he thinks so out of the box. He's so weird and he can take my mind places that I probably wouldn't go to and he opens me up to so many different thoughts. He's my creative go to.''
Sofia chose not to speak about her relationship with Scott - who has Mason, seven, Penelope, five, and Reign, two, with former partner Kourtney Kardashian - but it was recently reported their romance, which was confirmed in September, is ''still going strong''.
A source said: ''[Scott and Sofia] are still going strong [and] having a great time. [They are] happy and having fun for now.''
