Italian soccer hero Giorgio Chinaglia has died aged 65.
The former Lazio player and president, who represented his country in the 1974 World Cup, died at his home in Naples, Florida on Sunday (01Apr12).
Chinaglia also played for Swansea in Wales and the New York Cosmos in the 1970s, on a team that also featured Pele and Franz Beckenbauer.
He was inducted into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame in 2000 and named the greatest player in Lazio's history during the club's centenary celebrations.
