Soccer legend Eusebio Da Silva Ferreira has died. He was 71.
The Portuguese sports hero, simply known as Eusebio, died from cardiac failure on Sunday morning (05Jan14).
Nicknamed the Black Panther, the star was the top scorer during the 1966 World Cup, with Portugal finishing third in the tournament.
He spent most of his career at Portuguese team Benfica in Lisbon, where fans can pay their respects to the star at the team's ground on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the club says, "Eusebio's body will be brought to the stadium... and all fans will be able to say goodbye."
