SO SOLID CREW star ROMEO has put disappointing sales of the garage outfit's second album down to bootleg copies flooding the market.

The 21 SECONDS collective's long player 2ND VERSE only made it to Number 70 in the British charts, but Romeo blames album pirates.

He says, "Our album sales are fiddled because there's a lot of pirate copies sold on the street.

"I've had to pull people up about it - it's taking food off our plates.

"I understand the people flogging it on the street have to make money and feed their families - when I think of it like that it doesn't annoy me too much, but it does affect our chart performance."
