The teenage daughter of late British star Smiley Culture has been charged with importing drugs to the U.K.
The reggae singer, real name David Emmanuel, died after allegedly stabbing himself during a police raid on his home in Surrey, England in March (11).
It has now emerged his daughter Meree-Natara Emanuel-Russell was arrested during the same series of raids.
The 19 year old faced the drugs charge at Croydon Magistrates' Court on 18 May (11) and was bailed ahead of her next court appearance on 22 July (11).
An inquiry heard last month (Apr11) that Emmanuel committed suicide by plunging a knife into his chest after four detectives arrested him on a warrant relating to drug charges.
'Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)' arrives in April.
The two awards have made for a great 72nd birthday present for the country music icon.
