Legendary GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash is writing his autobiography.
The 41-year-old - real name SAUL HUDSON - will work alongside writer ANTHONY BOZZA, who previously helped Motley Crue star Tommy Lee pen his own autobiography TOMMYLAND.
Slash has signed a deal with publishing house HarperCollins, and the manuscript for his memoirs are expected to be completed this autumn (07).
The wildman rocker quit Guns N' Roses in 1996 and currently plays in Velvet Revolver.
Take a look back at October's inaugural event.
The film is expected to continue without Mendes' involvement.
