A Lawyer From Seattle, Washington, Has Been Inundated With Raunchy Text Messages And Photos After Inadvertently Receiving Rap Veteran Sir Mix-a-lot's Old Phone Number.
Jonathan Nichols was a broke law student last year (15) when he picked up a new number from network providers at Verizon and started fielding strange calls and receiving explicit images from various females.
"I used to get a lot of phone calls and voicemails from luxury car dealers, and they were always trying to sell me, or have me test drive, a Ferrari or a Lamborghini," he says.
It was only after one woman left a message explaining the history of Nichols' recycled phone number that everything started to make sense.
In the voicemail, the woman said: "This used to be Sir Mix-A-Lot phone number (sic). If you get somebody calling about they are Snoop Dogg, they really are (sic)."
Sir Mix-A-Lot, real name Anthony Ray, has since been notified of the funny story and he has expressed sympathy for the young lawyer.
"He's probably getting some insane pictures and photos and strange happy birthday songs and all kind of stuff," he says, before offering up a little advice: "If he's a lawyer, if he sifts through those calls, he'll find clients, trust me!"
And the Baby Got Back star cheekily told U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America, "Just to help him offload some of this pressure, he can always forward the ladies' pics (pictures) to me, and I'll take that off his hands, and he won't have to deal with that! That should alleviate about 80 per cent of the problem!"
Despite the continued calls, Nichols has no plans to ditch the number: "I don't ever wanna change this number; it's my fun, quirky, interesting fact for ice breakers!"
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
