Singer, Drummer And Stoner Icon John Garner Has Died After Losing His Battle With liver failure.
The Sir Lord Baltimore frontman is credited by many for pioneering heavy metal with his band, which he co-founded with guitarist Louis Dambra and bassist Gary Justin in 1968.
The group's albums included 1970's Kingdom Come and Sir Lord Baltimore. They split in 1976, but Garner resurrected the group 30 years later for an album and tour.
