Northern Irish punk icon-turned-music executive FEARGAL SHARKEY is to be knighted in England for his services to British entertainment, according to a new report.
The former The Undertones frontman and A Good Heart hitmaker is to receive a life peerage from U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron, reports the Daily Mirror.
After disbanding The Undertones in the early 1980s, Sharkey became a leading talent spotter and he now heads up UK Music, a pressure group which speaks out about industry issues such as piracy and licensing.
A spokesman for the Prime Minister, who is currently in America visiting U.S. leader Barack Obama at the White House, says, "David Cameron is deeply impressed with Feargal and his knowledge, leadership and commitment when it comes to representing the music business."
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
