Singer Trisco Pearson has lost his battle with cancer.
The Force MDs star passed away on Friday (16Sep16).
"It is with the deepest regret that we announce that One of Our own Trisco Pearson Of The Beloved Group, The Force M.D.'s has passed and finally went home with no more pain," a message on the group's Facebook page reads.
"Trisco was truly our Brother, coming from Staten Island New York to transport talents that reached around the world. We will miss him... The Force MD's & The Pearson Family Greatly Appreciate Your Love & Support, As We Come Together for our Dear Brother. May he Rest In Peace..."
Pearson joined the R&B group in the 1980s and the singers went on to release several albums, including Love Letters, Chillin', and Step to Me. They were best known for hits including Tender Love, which featured on the soundtrack of 1985 film Krush Groove.
Pearson is the third member of the group to pass away. Charles 'Mercury' Nelson died of a heart attack in 1995 and Antoine Lundy succumbed to Lou Gehrig's disease in 1998.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
