Haitian singer Michael Martelly has been officially declared the winner of the nation's recent presidential election.
Martelly, aka singer Sweet Micky, won the second round of voting after the initial election in November (10) was scrapped due to irregularities.
He picked up over 67 per cent of the vote to defeat rival Mirlande Manigat.
The star politician visited Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (20Apr11), and met with former U.S. First Lady Hillary Clinton, who is now America's Secretary of State.
Martelly will be inaugurated in Port-au-Prince on 14 May (11).
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
