Spanish singer Isabel Pantoja has been ordered to surrender to authorities to begin her two-year prison sentence for money-laundering.
The 58-year-old star was handed the jail term in April last year (13) after she was found guilty of laundering money on behalf of her politician ex-boyfriend Julian Munoz.
Pantoja appealed the sentence, arguing that she does not belong behind bars because she has no previous criminal convictions, but her case was rejected on Wednesday (19Nov14) at a court in Malaga, Spain.
The court ordered Pantoja's "immediate compliance with jail time" and she was given until Saturday (22Nov14) to report to a prison of her choice.
Her lawyer, Jose Angel Galan, insisted the singer will go voluntarily.
Following the trial, Munoz was jailed for seven years for his part in a corrupt scheme which provided building permits in exchange for bribes.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
