Irish singer CHRISTIE HENNESSY has died of asbestosis in London. The 62-year-old, whose illness is attributed to working on building sites as a young man, passed away in the British capital on Tuesday (11Dec07) morning. A statement on his website reads: "It is with great sadness we announce Christie passed. We just want you all to know how much Christie appreciated your love and support over the years. He will be sadly missed by all." Born in Kerry, Ireland, Hennessy released his first album in 1972, but is best known for his 1992 disc The Rehearsal.
He'll also be on board as a producer for the book to screen adaptation.
Gendry has been living under Cersei Lannister's nose for quite some time now.
The director would love to take the films in a different direction.
