Singer Frankie Randall has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 76.

Randall, a favourite of Frank Sinatra, died on Sunday (28Dec14) at a hospital in Indio, California.

He performed the theme song for 1960s U.S. Tv series Flipper and toured extensively with his pal Sinatra, as his pianist.

Randall also appeared in Sony & Cher's film debut, Wild on the Beach, and he was a regular on Dean Martin's variety series.
