Reggaeton star Alberto Stylee is a wanted man in Colombia after a judge sentenced him to 17 years in prison for attempted murder.
The Perdona singer was charged with shooting Edwin Henao Alfredo Mona in the head and abdomen during a party in the town of Copacabana, Colombia in February, 2012.
The injuries left Edwin a quadriplegic, and he died two years later (14), aged 35, after suffering a bacterial infection following reconstructive surgery.
Stylee, real name Carlos Alberto Pizarro, had initially been questioned over his alleged involvement by authorities, but he was released without charge in October, 2012.
Prosecutors appealed the decision and Stylee has since been convicted of attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm, and this week (begs15Feb16) he was ordered to serve 17 years behind bars.
Officials are now seeking to take the Puerto Rican musician into custody to begin his punishment.
Stylee's representative claims he has not heard from the star, whose current whereabouts are unknown, although on Wednesday (17Feb16), the singer shared a post on Instagram.com, revealing he was keeping busy putting the finishing touches to his latest project, the follow-up to his 2012 album El Que Los Puso A Entonar.
Ahead of their upcoming tour, and prior to the release of their long awaited album, Smoke Fairies played a great warm-up gig at Elsewhere in Margate.
