Former SHOWADDYWADDY star MALCOLM ALLURED has been fined $800 (GBP400) after flyers advertising his nightclub were displayed on lampposts.
The 62-year-old - who played drums in the hit 1970s band - owns the Miles From Nowhere club in Derbyshire, England, but the nightspot fell foul of local council regulations when the flyers were found plastered all over neighbouring streets.
The government department prosecuted Allured for the offence, awarding him the fine and ordering him to pay $700 (GBP350) costs.
The star apologised and blamed subcontracted promoters for displaying the flyers.
