Saudi Arabia and Moldova have been named first-time entrants in the Oscars' Best Foreign Language Film category.
They're among a record 76 countries in competition for the Academy Award.
Montenegro is also submitting for the first time as an independent country.
Saudi Arabia has high hopes with director Haifaa Al Mansour's acclaimed Wadjda, Moldova will be represented by All God's Children and Montenegro has offered up Drasko Djurovic's Ace of Spades - Bad Destiny.
The three films will compete with movies from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chad, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Ukraine and Uruguay, among other nations.
The 86th Academy Awards nominations will be announced on 16 January (14) in Los Angeles and next year's ceremony will take place on 2 March (14).
