The Screen Actors Guild said over the weekend that its president, AlanRosenberg, and national executive director, Doug Allen, met with federalmediator Juan Carlos Gonzalez to discuss SAG's request for mediation in itsstalemated negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and TelevisionProducers. Gonzalez is scheduled to meet with AMPTP representatives onThursday. Industry observers have expressed little hope that the mediatorwill be able to find a middle ground acceptable to both sides. If he isunsuccessful, the union is expected to send strike-authorization ballots toits membership by the end of next month.
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
