Rapper Royce Da 5'9 turned his album release concert on Tuesday (09Aug11) into a boozy affair by treating fans to tequila shots throughout his set.
The hip-hop star's fifth solo disc, Success Is Certain, hit music retailers this week and he marked the occasion by performing at New York hotspot S.O.B.s, where he was joined by his Slaughterhouse bandmates Joe Budden and Joell Ortiz, as well as special guests Talib Kweli, Pharoah Monch, Freeway and Jean Grae.
And Royce, who played a mix of solo songs and collaborative tracks from his Bad Meets Evil projects with Eminem, decided to share his liquor rider with fans, pouring them shots of high quality Patron Silver Tequila throughout the gig.
And the generous rapper didn't just pop open one bottle - he had emptied five by the end of the show, while his entourage onstage, including producer DJ Premier, sipped on Jack Daniel's whiskey and Grey Goose vodka.
The flat at Hauptstrasse 155 was where Bowie and Iggy lived between 1976 and 1978 in the city, which inspired the so-called 'Berlin trilogy' albums.
