Musical Rent will make history in Cuba on 24 December (14) when it becomes the first Broadway show to open there in more than 50 years.
The Spanish-language version of the production will run for three months at Havana's Bertolt Brecht Theater with a company of 15 Cuban actors.
It is the first U.S.-produced musical to hit the stage in Cuba since they were banned after the 1959 revolution that brought Fidel Castro to power.
The show will be directed by Andy Senor Jr., a Cuban-American who played the role of AIDS-stricken cross dresser Angel on Broadway.
Two weeks ahead of Independent Venue Week, Dry Cleaning made 'Britain's Best Small Venue 2015' (NME) the second port of call on their 2020 tour.
