Punk veterans X are set to step back in time at their upcoming Los Angeles concerts by performing each of their first four albums in their entirety.
Original bandmembers D.J. Bonebrake, John Doe, Billy Zoom and Exene Cervenka will hit the stage at Hollywood hotspot the Roxy in July (14) for a four-date residency and they are preparing to delve deep into their discography by playing every song from Los Angeles (1980), Wild Gift (1981), Under the Big Black Sun (1982) and More Fun in the New World (1983) on consecutive nights.
The rockers are also planning to incorporate the sounds of a saxophone and a vibraphone into their performances to give the 1980s tracks a new edge.
Take a look back at October's inaugural event.
The film is expected to continue without Mendes' involvement.
