Emmy Award-winning producer Burt Nodella has died at the age of 91.
Burt, who was famous for his work on the U.S. spy spoof TV series Get Smart, died on 23 February (16), but his family only announced his passing over the weekend (05-06Mar16).
He produced 47 episodes of the show that starred Don Adams, wrote a couple of storylines himself, and even appeared as a doctor on the programme. Get Smart won the top comedy series Emmy in 1968 and 1969.
Burt also lived with Barbara Feldon, who played Agent 99 on the show, from 1968 to 1979, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He was also known for his production work on TV films including 1974's The Phantom of Hollywood, which starred Jack Cassidy as a killer who stalks a studio backlot about to be sold to developers.
