Princess Madeleine of Sweden enjoyed a fairytale wedding on Saturday (08Jun13) after tying the knot with New York-based banker Christopher O'neill.
The youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, who is fourth in line to the Swedish throne, married the 38 year old in front of nearly 470 guests at The Royal Palace Church in Stockholm.
The bride wore a lace-top gown designed by Valentino Garavani, as well as a tiara adorned with fresh orange flowers, and the fashion icon insists it was a pleasure dressing the beauty on her big day.
He says, "Working with Princess Madeleine has just been so easy. She is a very lovely girl. She is modern, fun, full of energy and enthusiasm, and she is so beautiful. It has been a pleasure and an honour."
Throughout the ceremony, attendees were treated to performances by the children's choir, Roxette star Marie Fredriksson and singer Peter Joback, according to UsMagazine.com.
The couple announced its engagement in October (12).
