Police were called to a star-studded party in London following the GQ Men of the Year Awards to investigate a noise complaint.
After the glitzy prizegiving on Tuesday night (02Sep14), celebrity guests including Gerard Butler, Jamie Dornan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cara Delevingne and Samuel L. Jackson decamped to a private afterparty at the home of a public relations executive.
However, the bash was interrupted by cops who were called in to investigate complaints from neighbours over loud noise coming from the mansion.
A spokesperson for Scotland Yard tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "Police were called at 1.36am... to a large party. The call was passed on (to) Camden Council's Environmental Health Officer."
A statement from the local borough council adds, "Details of the noise nuisance were recorded. If a future complaint is received by the council, the details will be taken into account on (whether) further action is required."
