PETER, PAUL AND MARY singer Mary Travers will return to the stage next week (ends09DEC05) after successfully undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
The folk singer, 69, has been making a steady recovery after undergoing the procedure to treat her leukaemia in April (05), and doctors have told her that tests so far show no signs of the disease.
She says, "I think they're very happy with my progress. They're all thrilled and they're all coming to the concerts."
The PUFF, THE MAGIC DRAGON singer, who will perform in a holiday concert at New York City's Carnegie Hall on 9 December (05), had been waiting for a donor match after chemotherapy failed to stop the disease last year (04).
And while she's yet to meet the donor, she promises, "My donor has a lifetime of free concerts to Peter, Paul and Mary."
Her parents weren't too fond of the idea.
The flat at Hauptstrasse 155 was where Bowie and Iggy lived between 1976 and 1978 in the city, which inspired the so-called 'Berlin trilogy' albums.
Grint will star alongside Dougray Scott and Ed Westwick in a 10-part TV series for Sony's streaming platform Crackle.
