Rocker Pete Way has suffered a heart attack.
The UFO founder was hospitalised on Saturday (13Aug16) after he collapsed following a trip to Germany and is being treated by cardiologists.
"He has had a heart attack and a blood clot has been found on his lung. Needless to say I am in bits but Pete is fighting like he always does," the statement to Bravewords.com continues. "We are NOT going to lose another one. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers."
It is unclear what condition the 65 year old is in, but the rocker has suffered health problems in the past. In 2014, he announced his prostate cancer was in remission.
He was also forced to step down as UFO's bassist in 2009 to undergo treatment to cure a liver ailment.
