Rocker Alex Bois has left heavy metal band Periphery.
The guitarist, a founder member of the American group, left the band earlier this month (Jul11), but the remaining members have assured fans their touring schedule will not be affected as they are drafting in "special guests" to take Bois' place.
In a statement, the band says, "We have some sad news to share. Alex Bois and Periphery have decided to part ways. This is truly a sad day for Periphery, because Alex has been with us since the beginning, and he is like a brother to us."
