Embattled paralympian Oscar Pistorius is selling the home where he fatally shot girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp to raise money for his legal fees.
The Silver Woods Country Estate in Pretoria, South Africa will be sold at a closed bid for $445,000 (£278,000).
A statement from his lawyer Brian Webber reads: "It has become necessary to sell Mr Pistorius's home... in order for him to raise the necessary funds to cover his increasing legal costs.
"This is due to the unexpected extension of the trial beyond the initial three-week period, for which it was originally set down."
The South African athlete has been paying his own legal fees since the murder trial began earlier this month (Mar14) and has been staying with his uncle during the proceedings.
Steenkamp was shot dead by Pistorius in the bathroom of his home in February last year (13). The athlete denies one charge of murder and three firearms offences, insisting he mistook the model for a burglar.
Rock legend Eric Clapton has admitted the era of the guitar may be ''over''.
The actor plays the Queen frontman in the forthcoming movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
