A New York Philharmonic tribute performance to late conductor Lorin Maazel had to be postponed on Monday (14Jul14) after bad weather prompted organisers to call off the outdoor concert.
The city orchestra was due to take the stage in Manhattan's Central Park for a free gig, but officials scrapped the event hours before showtime after thunderstorms were forecast in the area.
The Maazel tribute will now take place on Tuesday night (15Jul14), when the New York Philharmonic is due to perform at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
The classical musicians will play Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings in honour of their former music director, who died on Sunday (13Jul14), aged 84.
The singer was discovered dead on Thursday morning.
