Neo-Nazi band LANDSER were yesterday (22DEC03) found guilty of forming a criminal association by a German court.
In the first case of its kind in the European country, the 38-year-old lead singer of the band was sentenced to three years and four months in prison, while two other members received suspended sentences of 21 and 22 months after a trial lasting six months.
The Berlin court ruled the band had "massively disrupted society's cohesiveness" with its song lyrics inciting racial hatred.
Lawyers for Landser said they were considering an appeal.23/12/2003 01:28

An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
