R&B singer Ne-YO is hitting the stage without four of his back-up dancers after they were reportedly dropped for refusing to travel to Japan following the recent earthquake and tsunami disasters.
The Closer hitmaker has decided to continue with plans for his upcoming Japanese concerts in the aftermath of the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and nine-metre (30-foot) high tsunami which devastated the country earlier this month (11Mar11).
But the star has now lost four dancers from his entourage after they opted not to fly to Japan over fears of aftershocks and exposure to radiation from nuclear plants which were damaged in the disaster.
Ne-Yo's tour manager dropped the performers from the rest of the tour, reports Tmz.com.
The singer is dedicating a share of proceeds from his gigs in Yokohama on Tuesday (22Mar11) and Tokyo on Thursday (24Mar11) to victims of the tragedies.
Jack Antonoff hears a ''female voice'' in his head when he writes music.
The show will be seen by everybody at the same time.
The creator will be able to give her input during season 2 production.
