Experimental musician Jeff Plewman, aka Nash The Slash, has died, aged 66.
The rocker, who often appeared onstage with his head completely bandaged wearing dark glasses, a top hat, bow tie and tuxedo, toured with Gary Numan, Iggy Pop, the Who and the Police.
The Canadian star befriended Numan and the two pals teamed up for an historic Toronto Opera House show in 2010.
Paying tribute to his late friend on Tuesday (13May14), Numan tweeted, "Just heard that Nash The Slash has died. Nash was quite possibly the most unique performer on the planet. Very sad news."
Plewman retired in 2012 after spending 40 years as one of Canada's best kept secrets.
His parting statement read: "I'm proud of my remarkable 40-year career in the music biz with no hit records. As an independent artist without management, major label support or any grants whatsoever, I toured internationally and accomplished so much. I was unique on stage and on my recordings. I refused to be slick and artificial. I opened for and toured with some of the best musicians in the world, and was regarded highly by my peers."
Without giving away any spoilers, both the British actors hinted that season seven of 'Game of Thrones' would be eventful, shall we say.
