A film about the 1993 Mumbai (Bombay) terrorist blasts has been delayed following protests by those on trial for the bombings.
BLACK FRIDAY was due to open across India on Friday (28JAN05) but its release has been postponed by the Mumbai High Court until 3 February (05), because the 36 people accused of launching the attack insist it could affect their defence.
The movie is based upon the novel of the same name about the 15 explosions which killed more than 250 people.
Director ANURAG KASHYAP's lawyer MIHIR DESAI says, "If you have not gone against the book, then how can you go against the movie?"
