Colourful family film Rio took U.S. cinemagoers to the carnival over the weekend (15-17Apr11) and beat the latest Scream film to the top of the box office with a solid $40 million (£25 million) opening take.
The animated film, which features the voices of Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg, more than doubled Scream 4's debut and scored the biggest opening in 2011.
Last week's number one movie, Hop, dropped to three.
Meanwhile, Rio is all the rage around the world - the film led the global movie market for a second weekend.
It has now claimed over $160 million (£100 million) around the world.
The NBC series ended a decade ago, but Will, Grace, Karen and Jack haven't changed a bit.
The album is Williams’ first release since 2013’s ‘Swings Both Ways’.
There's already an Oscars buzz surrounding this movie.
