Movie bosses have dismissed rumours the next TWILIGHT movie has been marred by problems - insisting stories of disagreements and reshoots have been blown out of proportion.
The cast and crew of the upcoming third installment of the vampire franchise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, starring Robert Pattinson, are preparing to head back to Vancouver, Canada to reshoot several scenes ahead of the movie's release in June (10).
The news sparked rumours that executives at Summit Entertainment, the production company behind the hit films, were not happy with the final cut. Stories also surfaced suggesting director David Slade had been dropped from the reshoots following a disagreement with studio executives.
But a representative for Summit is adamant the reshoot is not indicative of problems with the film - it has been planned for months and “very little” footage needs to be filmed again.
The spokesperson also insisted movie bosses are “very happy” with Slade's direction, and he will be involved when filming restarts.
The rep tells GossipCop.com, "The reshoot was planned for months, like it is with the majority of films. None of the meadow or action scenes are being reshot.
“Reports much like the one earlier today are ploys to drive traffic (to gossip websites) without any merit and without any support from the studio on what is actually going on or true.”
These are the albums we've been loving this month.
Some notable names are missing from this year's line-up.
'Father of All...' isn't an awful album but it certainly isn't that good either.
