A film based on the rise and fall of shamed German pop duo MILLI VANILLI is in the works.
The band, Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan, was a huge hit in the 1980s but had a dramatic fall from favour after it was discovered the pair lip-synched to another group's voices.
They were forced to hand back a Grammy award and their downfall was followed by Pilatus' descent into drugs.
Now, German director Florian Gallenberger is set to take on a big screen biopic about the pair, reports Allhiphop.com.
'Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)' arrives in April.
The two awards have made for a great 72nd birthday present for the country music icon.
