PAUL McCARTNEY still feels naive about listening to Super Bowl organisers' weather reports before his half-time show performance in February (05) - because he was not prepared for the wind and rain in Florida.
Although the weather cleared up for his show, McCartney was faced with terrible weather conditions when he arrived in Jacksonville for rehearsals.
And he admits he foolishly wasn't prepared for the worst.
In an NFL Network special, BACKSTAGE: PAUL McCARTNEY AT THE SUPER BOWL, which debuted yesterday (03JUL05), the former BEATLE said, "When I first agreed to do this, I said, 'Is it going to be indoors?' and they said, 'No, it's outdoors.' I said, 'What about the weather, it's February,' and they said, 'No, it's Florida, it'll be beautiful.
"They didn't tell us it was kind of almost southern Georgia, very northern Florida.
"I bought it. I just thought, 'Yeah, they know what the weather's going to be like,' but afterwards I thought, 'Why would I think they would know four months before what the weather would be like in Florida in February?'"04/07/2005 09:20
Many ticket-holders couldn't get into the O2 Arena show on Tuesday night (September 19th) because they didn't bring photo ID to match their booking.
An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
