The Wanted hunk has been left so impressed by the entrepreneurial ways of JLS star J.B. Gill - who has a farm in Kent, south east England, and plans to buy a deer farm in the Scottish Borders - that he has created a new business venture by splashing out on some fishing lakes.
He said: ''I have got my own fishing lakes, which people can come and fish at. I am at the start of the process. What J.B. did was smart.''
Max's bandmate Jay McGuiness has been left so impressed with Max's fishy farm he is now considering investing in the business.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: ''That's the best new job I've heard for any pop star ever.
''I should invest in his farm because he has got a real business plan.
''I love his thinking because he is like, 'I am good now so I am going to do what I really want to do'. Go on, son!''
Max - who is dating reality TV star Lucy Mecklenburgh - is known to be a lover of the great outdoors and enjoys watching shows about British adventurer Bear Grylls.
The 24-year-old hunk recently tweeted: ''Sat at home with mum watching Bear Grylls #noplacelikehome (sic)''
