Actor Marcus T. Paulk has avoided a jail term after pleading guilty to driving under the influence (Dui) following his arrest earlier this month (Feb15).
The former Moesha star's vehicle was pulled over by police in Scottsdale, Arizona after they reportedly spotted him driving erratically.
He failed a field sobriety test and allegedly confessed to drinking at a pre-Super Bowl bash and smoking marijuana earlier in the day, according to Tmz.com.
Paulk, 28, was also booked for drug possession after a bag of pot was said to have been found during the police stop.
He headed back to Scottsdale on Monday (09Feb15), where he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour Dui. The judge ordered Paulk to complete an alcohol treatment program and sentenced him to 12 months of unsupervised probation.
The marijuana charge was dismissed.
It isn't Paulk's first run-in with the law - in 2013, he was arrested on domestic violence charges, but struck a plea deal with Los Angeles authorities to avoid jail time.
