LoCash star Chris Lucas and his pregnant wife Kaitlyn learned they are expecting a new baby girl during a live TV surprise on Thursday (16Mar17).
The country singer and his bandmate Preston Brust were preparing to perform on U.S. breakfast show Today, when co-hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Jenna Bush Hager revealed Chris' wife had joined them via video link, accompanied by their two kids, so they could discover the sex of their unborn child.
Producers then had pink balloons brought into the studio, indicating they are expecting a baby girl.
The new addition to the family will join sister Remi, who will turn one on 21 March (17), and big brother Caden, six.
Lucas had previously announced the couple's third pregnancy last month (Feb17), revealing Kaitlyn is due in early September (17). The news was particularly exciting as Kaitlyn suffers from endometriosis.
"I didn't think Remi was going to be born, and then she's born, and the doctor's like, 'It's a miracle!'," he told TasteofCountry.com, before joking, "Ten months later... 'It's a miracle!'"
