LEONARDO DiCaprio has insisted he is grateful for his big break in Titanic, acknowledging the blockbuster film helped him gain control of his entire career.
The epic movie skyrocketed DiCaprio into worldwide fame in 1998, making him one of Hollywood's most desirable actors.
Since then he's continued to prove himself by working with acclaimed directors and taking on extraordinary roles, but it is his part as Jack Dawson in the disaster movie that changed his life forever.
During an interview on U.S. breakfast show This Morning, he admits, "You know, it's been such a long time (since Titanic), but it was such a huge part of my life, and people maybe think I have a reaction to that, to that film, but the truth is, I'm incredibly proud of it. And not only that, the movie has really made me be in control of my career."
