The Lego Movie is proving to be built on good foundations - it has scored a second week at the top of the U.K. box office chart.
The animated comedy, starring the voices of Will Arnett and Elizabeth Banks, took $9.4 million (£5.9 million) over the weekend (21-23Feb14), holding off stiff competition from Mr. Peabody & Sherman, which rose two places to second with $2.5 million (£1.6 million).
Kids' fantasy film Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy ranked third in the list, with takings of $1.9 million (£1.2 million), and the top five was rounded out by The Monuments Men, which fell two places to fourth with $1.7 million (£1.1 million), and sci-fi remake RoboCop, with $1.4 million (£890,000).
