The adopted son of the last blood relative of DRACULA's inspiration has died in Germany, aged 67. Ottomar Rodolphe Vlad Dracula Prince Kretzulesco lost his battle with an undisclosed long illness on Monday (19Nov07) in Koenigs-Wusterhausen, just outside Berlin. A trained baker, the deceased was the last legitimate descendant of the famous Transylvanian tyrant Vlad 'The Impaler' Tepes, who inspired Bram Stoker's novel Dracula after he adopted his father's name, Dracul. The funeral is expected to attract the curious, as well as family and friends on Saturday (24Nov07).
