Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's renovation of their Bel Air mansion is still nowhere near complete and there is no sign of them moving in any time soon.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's $11 million home is still nowhere near complete.
The couple - who welcomed their first child, North West, in June - had the Bel Air mansion gutted in a bid to create their dream family house, but it could take months before the lavish makeover comes to fruition.
Despite buying the house brand new, Kim reportedly ran into problems with the electric, water and heating in the house and had to completely rewire the place.
The pair - who were living with Kim's mother-and-manager Kris Jenner before renting another mansion while work continues on their estate - have splashed over $1 million dollars to furnish their luxury haven.
The Mediterranean-style mansion has reportedly been furnished with six special-edition beds costing £114,000 in addition to £500,000 worth of gold-plated toilets.
The spending doesn't stop there as the reality TV star and the rapper are also thought to be splashing out £500,000 on their kitchen including a Swarovski- encrusted fridge freezer.
A source said: ''They expect the interior to cost twice as much as the property. They're spending more than a million on a security system alone.
Rapper Kanye moved out of his apartment in New York City to start family life with Kim and North in California.
