Comic Kevin Meaney has been cleared following his arrest for allegedly elbowing a woman at an airport after police determined it was an accident.
The funnyman was accused of striking a 29-year-old female while waiting for a flight at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Tuesday (03Jun14).
Police arrived at the scene following a complaint and arrested the star, who was subsequently charged with misdemeanour assault.
Security footage was reviewed and prosecutors have now determined the contact was accidental, according to a spokesperson for the Queens District Attorney's Office. Meaney will not face prosecution over the incident.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
Rock legend Eric Clapton has admitted the era of the guitar may be ''over''.
Following his success with 'The Force Awakens', the director will close out the trilogy.
